Sondre Gjengedal has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum. The title of the academic thesis was: «Groundwater heat pump systems. New insights on system design and on fluid flow in unconsolidated aquifers». Sondre is the first PhD finishing from the Ormel-project.
Associate Professor Randi Kalskin Ramstad has been the candidate’s main supervisor. Professor Bjørn Frengstad and Hydrogeologist Bernt Olav Hilmo, Asplan Viak AS, have been the candidate’s co-supervisors.
The Assessment Committee consisted of Professor Jasmin Raymond, INRS, University of Quebec, Canada, Olof Andersson, GeoStrata, Sweden and Associate Professor Carl Fredrik Berg, NTNU
