Terje Solbakk has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum. The title of the academic thesis was: «Different aspects of detecting karst with geophysical methods – Tales from the underworld»
The assessment committee consisted of Professor Maria Mutti, University of Potsdam, Germany, Professor Snorre Olaussen, The University Centre in Svalbard, Norway and Professor Mai Britt Mørk, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Mai Britt Mørk was Administrator of the Committee.
Professor Philip Ringrose, Department of Geoscience and Petroleum, has been the candidate’s main supervisor. Principal Geologist Tore Amund Svånå, Afraz Advisors, and Professor Christine Fichler, Department of Geoscience and Petroleum, have been the candidate’s co-supervisors.
