Oras Mkinga has defended his thesis for the PhD degree

Oras Mkinga has defended his thesis for the PhD degree at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) The title of the academic thesis was: «Development of Methods for Reservoir Description and Modelling Under Production and Prediction of Future Performance».

The Assessment Committee consisted of Associate Professor Mark Bentley, Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom (1. opponent), Principal Researcher Medad Twimukye Tweheyo, Equinor, Norway (2. opponent) and Professor Philip Ringrose, NTNU.

Professor Phillip Ringrose at the Department of Geoscience and Petroleum at NTNU has been the Administrator of the Committee.

Professor Jon Kleppe (NTNU) has been the candidate’s main supervisor with co-supervisors Senior Lecturer Matheo L. Raphae, University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) and Adjunct Associate Professor Richard Rwechungura (NTNU).
