Tore Lie Sirevaag defended his thesis for the PhD degree. The title of the academic thesis was “A Study of the Ultrasonic Measurements for Logging Behind a Steel Pipe: Expanding the proessing to improve the differentiation between heavy fluids and light solids” The assessment Committee was Professor Arthur Cheng, National University of Singapore (1st opponent), Senior Research Scientist Arne Marius Raaen , SINTEF industry, Norway (2nd opponent) and Associate Professor Kenneth Duffaut, NTNU.

Professor Rune Martin Holt, Department of Geoscience and Petroleum, has been the candidate’s main supervisor. Research Scientist Tonni Franke Johansen, Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging has been the candidate’s co-supervisor.
