The INTPART summer school in St. John’s is completed

MUN_NTNU_GROUPAs part of the INPART cooperation between NTNU and Memorial University a 6-week summer school was arranged in St. John’s, with emphasis on the development of “An Integrated Operations (IO) Centric Exploration / Production Development Plan for the Flemish Pass, Offshore Newfoundland & Labrador”. The school and the project are now completed and the final presentation of project results was made on August 3rd as part of MUN’s annual Process Engineering Day, where they also won first prize in the Production Optimization category. The NTNU students who attended were Erik Norrud Pollen, Brage Strand Kristoffersen, Malin Bjørkøy, Havard Langdalen, Katrine Seel and Sun Tianqi. See their Facebook page for more photos.

Get an update on the summer school in Newfoundland

INTPARTgroupFive weeks have passed since the summer school, which is a subproject of the INTPART cooperation between Memorial University (MUN) and NTNU, started. Six students from NTNU and six from MUN participate. The theme is Integrated Operations in Remote and Harsh Locations. Lecturers from MUN and NTNU give short courses and advisers from MUN facilitate the project work. The groups present their results Wednesday Aug. 3. The summer school has its own Facebook page, where pictures of activities shared.
